1. Unholy Fucking Heils Angelfukk Witchhammer, it is a model of dedication, honor and fierce loyalty to the authentic Black Metal to answer this interview given the situation where you are. First of all, could you tell me what is your current situation, your routine or mode of living, how long will you spend in prison, and when are you expected to come out?
Angelfukk Witchhammer: Hails from behind enemy lines!
Well, my current situation is that I'm back in Federal Prison due to being a sworn enemy of the people and being a Satanic Terrorist! I got arrested along with Batzu Infector (vocals for Begrime Exemious and session live vocals for A.M.S.G.) for storing and in possession of hand guns, assault rifles, and explosives. I lucked out and only got an extra year added to my 5 year sentence for Drug Trafficking, possession of hand guns/machine guns, explosives and grave desecration. Unfortunately Batzu Infector got 3 1/2 years. I am locked in a cate like a Beast of the Apocalypse, so my routine and mode of living is quite barbaric. I will either spend 6 months or a year locked up, depends if I get parole or not.
2. Last year was published the full-length of Ouroboros "Spear of Destiny", a work that had already been recorded a long time ago and that has great quality. In this work also included the EP "Circling the Coils of Chaos", another awesome job. Why did it take so long to see the light a work that was recorded in 2003, and was mastered in 2008? Was it influenced by your previous stay in prison or have other setbacks?
AW: There was a lot of factors at work here, but the main one is prison. Personally I thought the recording wouldn't see the light of day after serving 5 years locked up. After I was released Satanic Skinhead Productions, who was originally going to release it in 2003, along with Supremacy Through Intolerance Productions got in touch with me and we worked out a deal. Since the band now is R.I.P. I thought it would be good to include the EP and some live material. The overall product is quite harsh and a nice "Fuck You!" to today's metal scene!
3. In Ouroboros you practice purely Canadian Black Metal, trademark in your country, a dark and especially aggressive black metal. How is Ouroboros now? Is it dead and buried band, or will be continued in the future?
AW: Ouroboros' music was and is a reflection of our lives! Harsh, bestial, and desecrating. Ouroboros is R.I.P. but shall be remembered then and now as death's scythe reaping the weak!
4. Ouroboros has a strong music load, also has some blasphemous, aggressive, supremacist and conquerors lyrics. Also in the artwork you can see iron crosses and the black sun. Has Ouroboros had problems or censorship for the content of the lyrics or artwork? What do you think of diplomatic and political correctness that prevails now in extreme metal, this attitude of not offending anyone, we are all friends and sing: "we are the world"?
AW: First of all, Ouroboros is not a Political band. Yes, the theme is blasphemous, supremacist, and hailing the conquering ones, achieving and praising heresy and the God Self Homodeus. The colour of ones skin is non importance, rather what's in the heart and mind that matters. Yes, Ouroboros has problems with censorship, but I wouldn't think nothing less coming from a world that is scared, weak, and fearful.
Fuck diplomatic and political correctness! I shit on passive feelings and thought! Remember: True Black Metal is a Crime Against Humanity!
5. You also have another band, AMSG, which practices more melodic black metal style than Ouroboros. The 2010 release "The Principle of Evil Becomes the Ideal of the Promethean" is another example of talent and quality to the Canadian style. What differences do you see both musically and as a lyricist between AMSG and Ouroboros?
AW: With Ouroboros, the album "Spear of Destiny" is a concept album about the Satanic Occult powers of the Spear of Longinus that pierced the side of Christ and it's conquest thru the ages. With lyrics on the EP and Demos we focus on Demonology, Blasphemy, Revelations and heretic supremacy. Musically Ouroboros is considered Black War Metal. When writing music for Ouroboros I tried to add some melody and some aspects of thrash so it wasn't your typical Blasphemy war metal clone, which is great, but way overdone.
A.M.S.G. is a different kind of beast. Lyrically we focus on Gnostic Luciferion left-hand path philosophy, the outcast 11 rebel angels and the wisdom of sub-transcenent consciousness of a causal chaotic black light. Musically with A.M.S.G. we create a dark atmosphere of a ritualistic sonic invocation to the endless dark Aeon.
6. With AMSG you have played live with bands like the amazing Weapon or Antediluvian. When you leave your imprisonment do you plan to continue with AMSG, give some concert with your comrades in war? How was that concert with Weapon and Antediluvian?
AW: When the chains of imprisonment are broken, A.M.S.G. will be in full force. Live Rituals will commence and talks of a European onslaught are in the works. The live ritual that you speak of was the A.M.S.G. EP release and the Weapon full length release. The show was one of the most Satanic, Barbaric insane shows to ever grace this planet. They used the brutality of the show to help keep me behind bars, which just adds strength to our cause and movement, our soldiers fight on...
7. Reading reviews of Ouroboros and A.M.S.G. works, many people qualify Ouroboros as a glorious mix of Canadian brutality bands (Blasphemy, Sacramentary Abolishment, Revenge, etc...) while A.M.S.G. is related with the more traditional and melodic European Black Metal (Dissection for example). I don't see these claims entirely successful, what do you think of these points of view about your bands? Have you been influenced at the time of writing by the Canadian scene or by bands from other countries?
AW: If you're with us, great! If not, I couldn't care less and the weak shall perish! Our message is clear and our movement is strong. We are influenced by the will of power, freedom and Satanic Victory!
8. Speaking of Canadian bands, do you keep contact with other bands? Is there a Canadian band or label you can recommend or warn of some rip-offs?
AW: When I am out of prison I try to keep in contact with all Black Metal Maniacs, but in prison it's hard to keep up. I am not able to be sure about rip-offs, but worthy bands/labels are: Antediluvian, Weapon, Begrime Exemious, Gloria Diaboli, Blasphemy, Nuclear Hammer, Revenge, Blood Revolt, Ross Bay Cult Recs, L.H.F. Propaganda, Profound Lore Recs.
9. In the past you also worked with another great Canadian band, Rites of thy Degringolade. What are your memories of that band? Do you think they may one day get back together?
AW: Yes, very chaotic times, good memories and bad ones. During those times with ROTD, I was heavily involved in grave robbing (collecting human bones), counterfeiting, drug and gun dealing, and putting proceeds of crime into Black Metal. I remember when we played some shows with Inquisition, we were playing shows in Vancouver (Blasphemy territory) and we did much crime. We were playing at the legendary 'Cobalt' which smelled of heroine and piss! We slaughtered goats and put heads, hooves everywhere and during our set, I threw out razor blades for people to cut/kill themselves and we got banned for life to play at that shit, piss hole! Too funny! As far as I know ROTD is RIP. The main man behind it (Paulus) is currently involved in Weapon. Hopefully some re-releases are in the future.
10. If you do not mind, I have some questions about prison, since it is a world that interests me and is the first interview I do for someone who already has plenty of experience both in the trenches as in the no man's land. On the internet I saw a profile of Bowden Institution. In particular the gangs that rule are the Manitoba Warriors and Kapital Ground Brotherhood (KGB for friends). Is it true that these gangs are prevailing, or are more gangs vying for the hierarchy? Have you had probems with these kind of gangs?
AW: Indeed, it seems I am stuck in the trenches at the moment. Yes there are some gangs, but seems unorganized. Young kids playing gangster do not interest me. I stick with my metal brother in here. No gangs bother us, as we are quite the maniacs! Extreme Black Metal and violence rules on...
11. There are also gangs of white supremacist people as Aggravated Resistance/Aryan Resistance or White Aryan Resistance, White Boy Posse or Hell's Angels, who are the white answer to gangs. Is there a climate of violence between gangs of different races in jail, or violence is more linked to the struggle for control of narcotics, territory...?
AW: There are some people involved in "supremacist" gangs that are educated in the right direction, then there are other non-educated people. Like I said, most gangs are kids playing gangster and unorganized. Fuck the white boy posse faggots and Hell's Angels goofs!
Red and white make pink! Ha ha. They are bad snitches. There is always violence in prison. The reasons are many. Drugs, gambling, snitches, child molesters... During my time in prison I have seen people severely beaten or killed, and some quite brutally. Prison is a jungle, dog eat dog. You need a mind of iron warfare to survive!
12. In the gang culture in prison you can choose from all colors. In Canada, are there any gangs or left-wing groups that also operate in prisons?
AW: I've never done time in the U.S.A., but I know doing time there is way worse, harder than Canada. As far as left-wing groups in prison, I am not too sure. I have never ran into any myself.
13. Jails are always surrounded by all kinds of rumors and speculation, but one of the issues that catch our attention is that of violations. In prison where you are, there is this kind of behavior? Is it true that in the absence of condoms, there are people being raped with a bag of chips or package that serves to protect themselves from diseases cock? Do you think that such acts are done with homosexual motivation (motivation linked to the disease course) or as a method of humiliation and intimidation against other enemies?
AW: Ha ha! Fuck that's grim! You make me laugh! That type of shit is the USA prison system. Here in Canada, sure you have faggots, and I'm sure they fuck each other. We do have condom dispensers here. But to my knowledge shit like that doesn't happen here. And if it does, I have nothing to do with that shit.
14. In the extreme metal always been people who for one reason or another has been jailed. Reading old Interviews of Jon Nodveit or more recent of Varg Vikernes struck me that they have instruments in their cells. I guess the difference between the Swedish and Norwegian prison system compared to Canada has to be brutal, especially in terms of population and ethnic and cultural differences. Are you allowed to have some kind of instrument or is there a music workshop in order to distract you while serving or compose a sentence? Is there more Black Metal Terrorists imprisoned?
AW: I send my respects to those two, and all other extreme metal P.O.W.s!! Yes I am allowed musical instruments. I possess a guitar in my cage. The full-length A.M.S.G. album is written, and I am working on new material. All will be recorded upon my release. I am sure over the world there are many Black Metal Terrorists imprisoned! And where I am there is about 8 of us, some murderers that will never see the free world again. They can imprison us, but never break our will and mind! We are removed from society, and when we get out we will be further removed and more chaotic! I personally will not rest until these Christian governments crumble and the chains of society turn to ash! These Christian democratic governments have turned the world into a cesspool of weakness an filth and must be obliterated. So out of the ashes the strong and smart will rise and conquer and we will be victorious and free.
15. A man always has a natural and unchangeable needs, is the law of life. Do they let you have conjugal visits or have in possession any type of literature for gentleman to entertain?
AW: Yes to both. I have satanic sluts of hell come visit me, so I am entertained.
16. Is it true the saying of the television series "The Wire" that there are only two days in prison: the day you go in and the day you come out?
AW: I have never watched that television show, but yes I agree with that saying...and then these are all the days in between...
17. This interview comes to an end; if you want to add anything this is your space. Thanks for answering, you know Warbrother.
AW: Thank You for your interest and support. I would like to send Hails to all Black Legions worldwide that fight on. Any Metal Maniacs that would like to get in touch can reach me for the next 6 months/or a year to:
